Erin Bethea

NASM-CPT
GFA Lead Trainer

Erin is one of the few living in Nashville that was born in Nashville.  She grew up a Hunter/Jumper Equestrian and played tennis, but if you had asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, anything fitness related would have never entered her imagination.

Like many college students, Erin had aspirations in the corporate world, but the many hours behind a desk led to weight gain as well as unhealthy eating and sleeping habits. Not allowing herself to, again, buy a larger size in clothes, Erin became passionate about her health and well-being.  Influenced by group fitness instructors, personal trainers and most notably her yoga-instructor father (he’s 77 and teaches 4 classes a week!), she discovered the importance of self care and shedding the guilt of making herself a priority.

In 2018, Erin became a NASM certified personal trainer, leaving the corporate world to pursue her passion of helping others discover confidence while living their most healthy and fulfilled lives. She joined the GetFit Fam at the beginning of 2021 and is currently the lead personal trainer. Erin is also a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate (PBNC) Professional and believes proper nutrition is key to achieving fitness goals.

Outside of the gym, Erin is an avid football fan (Hail State! and Go Pack Go!), enjoys reading (especially on a beach), playing pickleball and taking long walks with her hubby and Aussie pups.
